1998 Ford F150 heat/ac fan switch Temp control knob

Heater problem
1998 Ford F150 V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic 130k miles

My heater/ac fan switch only operates in high position and the temperature control knob is not engaging fully. How do I access the switch and cable? If I have to remove the radio how do I do that?

hi. your fan operates on high only,,because your resister is bad. this is in the heater box near the fan motor a square object held in by two screws and has a plug on it..


as far as the cable this can be adjusted from under the dash on passengers side
