1998 Ford F150 V8 Four Wheel Drive

My truck is getting a little older and has over 100,000 hard oilfield miles on it and today it started leaking fluid, probably coolant, and the heater ddnt work the next time i got in. what should I do?

where was the fluid coming from? what color?

could be related to the heating system or not at all.
