1997 Ford F150 will not get out of 4wd

the truck was put in 4wd to tow a car in the snow about a week ago whoever was driving parked the truck in 4wd and turned it off ever since then the ruck will not come out...it binds thru turns and does not go over 30mph and if it does it is running at 4500rpm and shakes.

Do you have the electric shift 4wd or the shifter on the floor.

Have you checked if the actuator on the transfer case is getting power?
