I am only able to get the truck to start by turning ignition on and putting transmission in neutral. Brake lights are not working but running lights are.

check you brake light switch under dash at brake peddle for brake lights and starting probblem in park also check neutral safty switch for starting probblem also check fuses for brake lights also have someone step on brake peddle and use volt ohm meter to check for voltage at plug
