1997 Ford F150 V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic 300K miles

WHen i turned my weel all the way in any direction i got a grinding kinda sound. While off roading i managed to totaly screw the power stearing the fluid is now leaking out and i have no power stearing. I was turning the weel and flooring the gas basicly and it smelt like burning stearing fluid like 2 seconds before i lost the power stearing. any ideas on the problem and repair.

It sounds like the pump or a blown pressure hose from the pump. Will it hold fluid?
