I have a 1997 Ford F150 with 56k miles. I have been haling a lot of rock lately I just finished the job. Now my truck makes a noise out of the rear end. It only makes the noise when you put your foot on the gas from a dead stop. I have had the rear shocks replaced and the breaks are brand new. It does not make the noise when lifted off the ground. Any one have any ideas.

My truck did the same thing except the noise was there most of the time. The first time it was bad outside axel bearing. The second time it happened it was worn out spider gears in the rear end. the third time it was scored pinion carrier bearings.
