When running at normal speeds and take off everything seems fine but upon deceleration the engine dies. It happens just before coming to a complete stop or entering a sharp curve and slowing to 5 or 10 MPH. Could it be the throttle positioner? I had that same problem in my wifes dodge durango. Thanks!

If the light is on, take the vehicle to a nationally recognized parts store and have them scan the computer for trouble codes. Most will do it for free. It should identify where the problem is coming from.

Let me know what you find.
