1997 Ford F150 cruise control

My Truck is a 97 f 150 and the cruise control doesn't work. The fuse is fine and i have no idea where the relay is. I don't want to tear into it if there is another way to be sure it's not the entire unit. Any advice would help.

i have the same prob but i found out my truck has a recall on it and they took it off due too it starting fires
