1997 Ford F150 anti-theft

my F-150 is a 5 speed I always shut down truck with clutch depressed and in 1st gear. I did that and the factory anti-theft alarm came on (horn blowing and lights flashing) I disconnected battery for 15 minutes and reconnected but alarm stays activated

Will it shut off if you lock then unlock the drivers door? If not it will need to be scanned to find out which sensor/switch or other component has shorted
