1996 Ford F150 pulls when braking

1996 Ford F150 V8 Two Wheel Drive
----------------------------------------------------------------
When applying brakes, truck pulls to left, when releasing brakes, truck straightens out...even when not moving. Cause?

Hi capnwilly,

You mean the steering pulls when the brakes are applied even when the truck is stationary? That is surprising.

If the pulling occurs during light braking, you need to check the following.

1. Steering linkages.
2. Lower ball joint
3. Brake calipers, especially slider bolts.
4. Arm bushes.
