1996 Ford F150 fuel pumps

i have a f 150 with duel tanks
if i ues the rear tank it runs mint
but it pumps fuel to the front tank if i use the front tank it will run till it seams like the pump warms up is there a check valve in theses pumps i looked for a slector valve and didnt locate one

i belive ford strayed away from the horrible DUAL FUEL TANK SELECTOR VALVE after the arly 90's i belive 91 was the last year.


you may have to take it in and have them install a external check valve in the system, there is lots of recalls out for f150's before 1997
