My 96 F-150 started dieing every few weeks, then it became just about everyday. Took it in to have it hooked up to a computer. Only code that showed up was a bad O2 sensor. I replaced it but problem was still there. I borrowed a code scanner from a friend and the next time it died a code saying something about engine/speed circuit came up. I was on my way to work and when I went out at break to write the no. down and what it said the code was gone. I changed the ignition module to see if that would help and weeks went by before the problem came up again. When it dies, its usually 15 minutes before it will start back up. Sometimes it will just die for a few seconds and jerk back on. Any ideas?
