1996 Ford F150 Banging noise when applying brakes

1996 Ford F150 Two Wheel Drive Automatic 221000 miles

I get a banging/clunking noise once the brakes are hot. It is random, not happening everytime. It appears to be coming from the right front most of the time, but sometimes perhaps from the center front. I'm not sure if it is a brake or suspension noise. Sometimes you can feel it in the brake pedal, sometimes not. The brake rotors appear to be smooth and not scored. Any ideas?

If you feel it in the brake pedal, chances are one of the rotors are warped. What condition are the pads in?
