1995 Ford F150 steering loose at high speeds

I have a 1995 Ford F-150 and at higher speeds on the higway the steering gets real loose and the truck is hard to steer it gets real squirly. What could the problem be? I am thinking gear box.

id be checkin the gearbox and make sure it is properly adjusted...
