How do I know what to look for in the area of quality care? What kind of price range should be considered for price range? What terminology should I hear from a knowledgeable mechanic and or repair shop?

Hi there, price is a vexing question, all you can do here is compare a few quotes for the same job, a mechanic should be able to look you in the eye and talk to you on a level that you understand, we all know the fancy terminology, but for the lay person he should bring it down to a level that you feel comfortable with, he should be patient and answer your questions to your satisfaction, yes they can get busy, but the customer is their life line, so i always have, and will invest as much time in the customers as is needed to make them feel at ease and part of the decision making process.
