I have a 1995 f150 5.0 engine, the engine starts perfect when its cold, but after it has sat for 10 mins or longer it is hard to start, it cranks for a good 10-15 seconds before it will fire, then it runs perfect, has lots of power, I can smell a hint of gas in the cab. Im thinking the TPS switch, but not a 100% sure. Once it cools off then its starts with out a issue. And its also, im thinking hard on gas, it will only get mabey 200-300 km to a tank which is roughly 100 to 150 miles.

Has the check engine light ever come on? Also, I agree. That is really bad fuel mileage. The truck has at least a 19 gallon tank.

Let me know about the light.

Nioce guy to remove the bulb. What I need you to do is have the computer scanned. Most parts stores will do it for free. Have that done and let me know what trouble codes they find.
