i have a problem getting the truck to start. it has been 2 years since it has run. the fuel pumps (niether one primes when you turn the key to the on position. i've reset the switch on the right kick panel and still niether one of the pumps turn on and prime the system. was wondering if there may be something i'm overlooking before i take out a tank. maybe some way to test the pumps ? or any other tricks you may know to help me.

thank you very much for this forum

sounds to me like you might have a bad fuel pump relay.

ground out the pump signal on the EEC-IV relay to ground and turn the key on do the pumps turn on and stay on.
