It was raining outside, at a light the truck hooped a bit cause of loss of traction, once that was over, I noticed that my battery light came on, but my battery guage is reading fine. 14.5v. Once I got home I checked everything out, all connections are tight, belt is recently new, and my left headlight is out, but if hit it comes back on. Any Ideas?

I would start by having the alternator checked. Something could have been knocked loose. However, I would also suggest checking for body ground straps that may have broken or came loose. Something may be allowing power to backfeed through the batt light.

Most part stores will check the alt for free. Let me know what you find.
