1995 Ford F-150

My truck loses oil pressure when it is at an idle. But only when its in gear. If its in park or neutral its fine. Even if its just a few RPMs above idle, the oil pressure jumps back into the normal range whether its in gear or not. What might be wrong

No. No lifter clatter or anything.

Replace the oil sending switch. Chances are it is bad. It is easy to replace and not expensive.

Let me know if it takes care of the problem.
