1994 Ford F-150 128000 miles. Truck has been running fine recently. After the starting engine yesterday the engine died within a minute just like turning the key to off. No spark out of distributor cap, new ignition module and coil no help, rotor and cap look good. Checked fault codes and system passed. Any ideas as what to check next?

I would check the fuses
check the coil and its connector
use a test light check for a battery power at the coil with key on
put the test light clip side at battery positive and check the coil wire while cranking and if it pulsing then the coil is no good
