I just put in a new alternator in my trurk. I am sure I have it hooked up right. But when I reconnected the battery and attempted to start the truck it wouldn't. It make a clicking noise and then cut off all power to the vehicle lights radio and everything. Does any one know what that means I did wrong? I connected all six wires to thier same color wires. Any help please thank you?

I think its as simple as a bad connection at the battery or a under charged battery. If the connections look bad they make a terminal repair for the posts and is real easy to install. You just cut off the old ends and strip back the wires and the new post clamps onto the wire. Hope this helps
