1994 Ford F-150 Creamy substance

I keep coming across a build up of a yellowish creamy substance where the oil goes in. What is causing that?

What you describe I usually condensed moisture that collects in the upper part of the engine. It's not uncommon in some engines and is usually nothing to worry about The most common cause is too many short trips where the engine doesn't get hot enough for long enough to evaporate the moisture out.
