I CAN START THE TRUCK WITH A CAN OF STARTING FLUID, BUT WHEN IT RUNS OUT THE TRUCK STOPS. I MADE SURE THERE IS NEW CLEAN GAS IN THE TANK AND TOOK OFF THE AIR FILTER BOX SO THERE IS NO OBSTRUCTION. WHAT DO YOU THINK IT MIGHT BE.

The inertia switch was not tripped so I popped it up and reset it. The fuel pump fuse and relay are fine. I also replaced the fuel filter and it was full of fuel and came out both sides. The truck will start and run for a few seconds with starter fluid still but then cut off.

You need a fuel pressure gauge designed for your fuel system and tap into the fuel test port and also a noid light to check for injection pulses at the injector/s wire connector
