1993 Ford F150 Shift lever

Shift lever on column feels loose and does not shift to proper piont, ie park, reverse or drive. If I feather lever around, transmission does work OK, need to know how to tighten linkage in steering column.

Check lower cloumn bracket low on column near bulkhead has to nuts see if they are loose. if good then maybe shifter pin is worn and/or return spring broken. Would need to disassemble column.
