I just bought a new battery last weekend and now the battery is drained. I checked to see if anything was left on and nothing was. What could cause the battery to drain like this?

Sounds like a altenator or regulater problem to me.

Does it drain when parked or when it's being driven?

If it is being drained while parked, that cold be the regulator or some other drain, but if while driven altenator or possibly a bad connection in the charging system. In either case the regultor is in the altenator and you should be able to go to your local advance or auto zone and they will test it for you and not charge you for it.
