When out side temperature is above 20 degrees celsius the motor runs very rough if at all. But once you get past 3rd gear it runs fine. Any ideas. Some friends told me maybe its the catylitic converter.

Disconnect the INtake air temp sensor and the engine coolant temp sensor and run the engine. Does it seem to run better?

If so one of them is bad. Test both with a cold engine. Measure the resistance of the two and compare them to specs.

Be sure to let me know what you find. If that doesnt work you can try disconnecting other sensors till you see what one stops the problem.

Managed to check those sensors, they checked out fine. Pulled some codes using the dash light, got a 63, 15, 46 and I think a 38 but can't find what a 38 is. Maybe I read it wrong. Throttle sensor seems to put out propper voltage as I open and close the throttle. But even if it is the sensor it doesnt make sense why the truck runs good when its cold.
