1992 Ford F150 clutch start switch

I've had to replace the clutch start switch(safety neutral switch)about every 5 months after the original switch went out.Why does'nt the replacement switch last longer?

sub par materials more then likely is the cause of them going out, if you think of it the switch is used alot.
