Engine Mechanical problem
1991 Ford F150 V8 Four Wheel Drive Automatic

I have a 1991 Ford F150 4x4. I have an exhaust leak on the driver side. My question is there a donut gasket between thr exhaust pipe and the tail pipe? or are they bolted together without any gaskets?

Hi,Look At The Exhaust manifold ,See If It's cracked. Also look Behind The cylinder head is the air pump tube and check valve rots away back there.very common on these trucks. Also Look At the Flange At The bottom Of the manifold .The Pipe Is Coned ,They Do ,Wear out And leak Sometimes. Then You Will Have To replace the Pipe. The Flange Gasket Is Part Of the manifold. On 99% Of Fords.

Hope This Helps You,
Good Luck
