Hello,
I have a 1990 F150 and for the past few days it seemed like once I turned the key it hesitated a second before starting, or I had to turn the key a little bit further than usual. Today I started it fine but then it wouldn't turn off. I turn the key back and can even remove it, but the truck stays running. I bought and installed a new lock cylinder but that didn't make a difference. Help please.

Could be that the ignition switch power feed is touching the ignition circuit contact intermittently in the igniton switch or the wires itself

Sir-if you're not competent in electrical and the use of a DVOM your best bet is to have a professional check it -it can be complicated and also you might end up making things worst if a mistake happens-

That's unfortunate. I'm trying to sell the truck and I really don't want to put any more money into it. Thanks
