1990 Ford F150 fuel shutoff switch

after putting gas in both tanks i switched from the back tank to the front an started the truck ,it started ,then died an will not start now .how can i tell if it is the fuel shutoff switch is working properly

If the fuel pump relay is okay the inertia switch should have power before and after it. Unless its tripped.
