Engine Performance problem
1987 Ford F150 6 cyl Manual 100000 miles

my son's truck won't stay running. It acts like its running out of gas. It starts and runs about 5 mins. then it stops. the mechanic said he doenn't know where else to check . He checked the fuel pump and took off the gas tank.
