Iam replacing starter how many wires connect to solinord on unit

See my profile. Ford Solinoids were mostly mounted on a fenderwell and have 3 or 4 posts (older ones anyway) , 2 little ones--- "S" and "I"-------S to key----I to coil system

Viewed from little post side (FRONT)----Big on left is BATTERY (cable) and ACCESSORIES(#s could vary)---------Big on right is STARTER (cable, 1 cable only)

Changing the starter should have involved removing 1 cable from unit.....how did solinoid get in the picture?
