Engine surges then stalls, replaced intake gaskets, egr, truck runs perfect if tps and idle solenoid is disconnected, otherwise still surges

Has the check engine light come on? Have any codes come up for the TPS or the IAC?

I would recheck your work and make sure there are no vacuum leaks. Also, check for fuel pressure to make sure the regulator is steady. FInally, have you heard any noise from the catylatic converter (ratteling, hissing.) I wounder if it is starting to plug.
