I own an 86 f150 with a 302 engine. i just had the engine rebuilt and now it makes a ticking noise from under the hood. you can barley hear it at idle but when you push the gas it gets louder. so loud i can hear it over the exaust and i have dual flowmasters. what could it be?

Could be an excessive valve lash and needs adjustment-also check the oil pressure-
