Electrical problem
1979 Ford F150 V8 Two Wheel Drive Manual

I replaced the ignition switch, ignition modual, starter relay and starter. With the key off I hook up the battery and the starter engages, with the key on I hok up the battery and the truck starts but the starter stays engaged.I have a wireing diogram and have been over all the wires twice every thing seems fine. Any ideas?

Your problem is that you got the wires reverse on the starter relay-do this remove the small 2 wires get a test light put key in run now find the wire that has power -put that on the I terminal which is the ignition pass -to fully power up the coil during initial starts and the other goes to the S terminal -Retry
