my truck started to idle real fast i have changed carbs i know the carb is good my question is can a egr valve make it idle fast and how can you cheak a egr valve thanks for aney help you can give me thank you

I woukld start by checking for any vacuum leaks. Can you idle it down with the idle control screw?
