2002 Ford F-100 replace filter

I remove transmission pan found a yellow plastic part with o-ring on it in the bottom of pan. I can not find where it goes. Please help me locate where this part goes.

That yellow plastic part is installed in the dipstick tube hole at the factory to hold the full load of fluid in the pan. When the dipstick tube is installed on the assembly line the plug is simply knocked down into the pan. You can throw the plug away.
