Brakes problem
1983 Ford F-100 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic
Hi
Both front brakes on my truck recently stuck. I changed the master cylinder last spring, so I dont think that is the problem. Any Ideas?

Check the calipers. Make sure the moving parts u can access are properly greased if their supposed to be. I have an 1981 F100, but I haven't worked on my front brakes in forever so I dont even remember what they look like off hand. Bleeding the lines wont hurt either.

The front brakes have separate lines to the master cylinder. Thus they operate independently of each other. If you step on the brakes and they both do not release when you remove your foot, it means that the brake fluid cannot back up into the master cylinder, which means that there is an obstruction in the line, and since it is in both wheels, it means the master culinder is plugged. Clean it and the lines.
