Transmission problem
1968 Ford F-100 V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic

im trying to remove the pump from my c6 transmission. i have it out of the truck, and the torque converter out. i took out the 7 bolts there, but now how do i remove it? its stuck.

You might have to use a slidehammer to pop it out

I thought that there would be a threaded hole i could thread the slide hammer into, but there isnt one. The only threads go into the bell housing.
