1964 Ford F-100 exhaust leak

sounds like a exhaust leak under the hood all gaskets are new on the exhaust and i cant feel any air leaking around them it sounds like it is coming from under the intake manifold the motor runs fine just sound bad the motor is a 292 Y block

Hi there,

First check all around the manifolds with a length of hose , use It as a stethoscope, on end to the engine and the other in your ear, slowly move the free end around the edge of the manifold and flanges and if there is a leak you will hear it easily.
