Is the fuel pressure regulator a preset mechanical pressure or is it controlled by a vacuum?

The fuel pressure is controlled by the fuel pump which has an internal pressure regulator. There is a fuel pressure sensor through which helps control the pressure, the location I have included in the diagrams below. Check out the diagrams (below). Please let us know if you need anything else to get the problem fixed.
