How can I narrow this down? I have just recently noticed that when I drive my Explorer and especially on the highway, when I go to give it gas the vehicle stutters. The check engine light flickers on and off until I let up on the gas. It has new spark plugs, MAF sensor, both oxygen sensors have been replaced, and as well as the vacuum line. Other than that it runs really well, except when you really need to give it gas, it is really getting frustrating! Please help.

In your case were the MAF has been changed, Get the code read for the check engine light. Autozone will do it free. Post results here. Maybe have the fuel pressure checked too.
