oil change

Every car I've ever worked on has had the drain plug on the lowest part of the oil pan man.Honestly,not trying to be rude but,your best bet is to take it to a "Jiffy Lube"or such and pay the $20 to have them do it. :D

thankyou for the advise,i would like to do it myself thankyou. jiffylube has burned me too many times costing me a transmission. thanks but no thanks.i'm a single mother and a home owner i can't afford to take off work and sit at an oil change place for two hours for them to ruin my vehicle.

Sorry if i offended you,that wasn't my intention!Your drain plug/bolt should be on the part of the oil pan that hangs closest to the ground,oil filter would be(if you are laying on the ground looking up)on either side of the drain plug nestled beside the oil pan on the motor.I would suggest replacing the oil filter with on of the ones with the "hand grip" so its easier next time you change your oil.If the current one that is in there doesnt have the hand grip on it your gonna have to have an oil filter wrench(or you could go "ghetto"and stick a screwdriver through it and turn it that way(watch da eyes,oil tends to go everywhere!).Good Luck bye the way and sorry if i offended you i like to see independant women doing things for themselves! :D
