Intermittent Power Lock Fault

Ford Explorer XLT 2001 V6: For several weeks now I am having problems with the locks of both the rear hatch door and window, and also the rear side passenger door lock (opp to driver side). They will fail to open intermittently - especially when parked or idle for a while, but then will operate (on most occasions) after I start and drive for a period? Has anyone any ideas for self-help. I am kind of praying for "it's just a fuse" type answer!

Thanks for the heads-up on the 'actuator' problem. 2 things from here if I may: What is a good lube for these locks, and, Are 'Actuators' something I can get replaced easilly enough - or do I need to pay through the nose at a dealer?
