First, the vehicle is fully under warranty. It needs to go to the dealer for repairs. As far as the light, what makes you believe the battery isn't fully charged?

We took it to the dealer and that what they told us. I personally didn't think that sounded right so I was debating on taking it somewhere else?

Don't take it to a different place. If the light is on, they have to fix it for free. If they can't get it repaired within 3 tries, then you can fight for a replacement. An air bag is considered a safety item. They get three chances to fix it before you can claim it under the lemon law. If the light is on, the air bag won't work.

Is the battery going dead for you?

Did they replace the battery free of charge? Did they check the alternator?
