2007 Ford Explorer Radiator

I was wonder if you could tell what could of caused my radiator to develope mutiple leaks at 48,000 miles,and yes I had to replace it. I didn't feel like it would do much good to repair such a damage radiator.I had a complete flush done at 30,000 miles. with no problems .They sure don't make them like they use to. Most of the leaks where at the top some in the middle.

You're right. They don't make them like they once did. Today, they make them with plastic tanks and aluminum fins. Usually, the crimps that hold the plastic tanks on with come loose.
