2006 Ford Explorer Warning light

A red battery pops up and underneath it says, "Check Charging System". I replaced the battery and am still having the pop up. Everything else in the vehicle operates properly.

Alternator is properly going bad. You can have it tested for free at most local part stores such as Advance Auto Parts or AutoZone. You can have it tested both on or off of the vehicle.
