RECENTLY OH ABOUT A MONTH OF AND ON WHILE DRIVING THE ENGINE WOULD RACE AND U CAN HERE THE ENGINE RUNS A HIGH PICTCH SOUND. WHAT I HAVE BEEN TOLD THAT IF THE COOLANT LEVEL IS LOW THAT MIGHT BE THE PROBLEM. OK BUT WE HAD OUR ENGINE OIL CHANGED AND THEY DO A CHECK ON FLUID LEVELS AND REFILL. SECOUND IT COULD ALSO BE A LOOSE OR WORN BELT. PLEASE ADVISE AS TO WHAT AND HOW CAN I SOLVE THIS PROBLEM. P.S. ENGINE RACING.

When you say the engine is racing, do you mean the RPM's are going high? Also, is there a noise associated with this? Does the vehicle speed up without you touching the throttle?

The rpms do not jump or car does not speed up. But I can say that the car does have a high pitch sound and that the temp gauge will jump to the engine hot.

Have you checked the belt to make sure it is tight?
