I noticed antifreeze leaking around the housing on the top of the engine block. It is a minor leak but it should not be leaking.
The two bolts at the radiator hose on this mount are tight and show no signs of leakage around them.
The 3 bolts on the same housing unit to the block are also tight. The leakage seems to be between this black, plastic mounting fixture and the engine block.
Any ideas or ways to stop this leak?

Is the housing that you are refering to at the end of the upper radiator hose? If so, it is the thermostat housing. Chances are you will need to replace the gasket between the items to eliminate the leak.

If you have a picture of the part in question, upload it for me to see.

Thanks,

Joe
