2005 Ford Explorer vibration @ 55 + MPH

The above discribed vehicle developed a vibration after receiving 4 new tires less then 1K miles ago. I've brought it back 3 time to have the balance & tire pressures checked. About 5K miles ago the Rt ft ball joint was replaced and front end aligned. The U-joints are tight. The vehicle pulls only very slightly to the left at highway speeds.

What else should I ask a tech to look for?

If it started when the tires were replaces, chances are you got a bad tire. Check for shifted belts in the tire. It's not an uncommon problem and it doesn't matter how many times you balance the tires, it won't help.

Can you tell me where you feel the vibration the most? Is it in the steering or the seat / floor?
